Antarctica

A couple more photos from my recent trip to Antarctica as I continue to go through them. Hope you enjoy this glimpse of the beautiful frozen continent!

Taken from just outside the bridge of the ship on a day so clear it was crystalline. I used no filters in the above shot, did nothing fancy. It really was that clear and beautiful.

See the tiny dots at the bottom? Those are people. We hiked a long way to get this gorgeous shot of Neko Harbour!

Sounds like you had a grand time.

This calm, chilly environment is so beautiful!
Did you see a blue or green iceberg? (I find them fascinating).

Very beautiful and serene (and possibly very cold!).

This is what I thought of when reading in Archangel's Enigma about Jason and Naasir going to Osiris' stronghold that was buried in ice and snow.

Any suggestions for going down there? companies to book with etc.? This is on my bucket list and I'm researching for a 2020 trip :)

@Ducky22 I went with Linblad/National Geographic and it was fantastic. You have to go on a smaller ship if you want to do landings. Bigger ships are basically only allowed to cruise through.

*sigh* The photos are lovely and all I can think about is how I don't enjoy the cold. But I would still love to go.
