ReReading the Warlock in Spite of himself series. It is a wonderful series about a planet that 500 years ago was settled by members of the Society for Creative Anachronisms and has stayed medieval the entire time. It is rediscovered by Rodney Gallowglass a modern agent sent to get them on the road secretly to turn into a democracy. Complications ensue when he finds out that there are active and powerful male and females who are telepathic and telekinetic.
Riveted- by Meljean Brook. Just love the steampunk world she creates in this series. Characters are gorgeous, some very romantic and emotional scenes. Loved it! This novel is a keeper on my bookshelf.
I just read the first book in Rebecca Zanetti's Dark Predators series. It was good, but I think I will like the next one better as she is first introducing her world in this first one.
Re -reading Her Ladyship's Curse by Lynn Viehl. The second installment "His Lordship Possessed" of the series is out tomorrow. Unfortunatly only e-book. I am usually not into steampunk but I love her writing esp. the Darkyn series.
I had a great time at the Frankfurt Book Fair today and will now devour my acquisitions... :D (Namely the first two books in the Royal Guards of Shadows-series and an anthology containing three further novellas by Miss Showalter ;) ). Greatings from Germany to all of you!

I'm reading a mystery set in 1920's Melbourne, Australia - Cocaine Blues by Kerry Greenwood. Lots of fun!
The Warlock In Spite of Himself, by Christopher Stasheff, now that you've reminded me of it. It is for sale at smashwords in ebook form!
Now to find Randall Garrett's Gandalara Cycle in ebook.

I am trying to read Bear meets Girl by Shelly Laurenston, but my e-reader is having a melt down.
