Oooh, I loved Across the Universe and the other books in the series, Anna-Lisa. I've just finished Mind Games by Kiersten White. Wow. Gritty. Loved it!
I have just finished Clockwork Princess which is the third book in the Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. This is a prequel to her Mortal Instruments series featuring 'Shadowhunters and Downworlders'. The Infernal Devices books are set in Victorian London and it does involve three people who are very much in love in a kind of a 'love triangle'. Wasn't sure I would like these books but I find they are addictive! The end of Clockwork Princess is so amazing it made me cry!
Just finished reading Elizabeth Lowell's Beautiful Sacrifice. She's a great murder mystery, romantic suspense writer. Great couple with chem and a fascinating story about the Mayan.
@ anonymous re: Honor Harrington series. I enjoyed that series very much, especially the first few. If you are looking for something kinda similar may I recommend Tanya Huffs "confederation" series, imo excellent. I am rereading KMM's Highlander series at the moment, hope to find something new in the next week or so. Cheers Jo
