Time for the Friday Book Club!! What are you reading and loving this week?
Have an awesome weekend everyone! I'm hoping to catch up on some of my own reading after I finish the first draft of Archangel's Legion. :-)

Good morning from Germany,
hope you are all well! The read of the week was Wild Invitation and well I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Declaration of Courtship was soooo cute!
Actually I am trying to catch up with the Freakin`Shifter series by Eve Langlais. Funny and sexy! As the next weeks are crowded with releases books I am waiting for to read since they were announced (Next week alone Coosing Riley by S.E. Smith and A celtic witch by Debora Geary - both highly recomended-) I will miss some sleep... But it will be so worth it...
Happy reading

Wild Invitation of course! And I reread the Pennyroyal Green series by Julie Anne Longe. It has become next to Courtney Milan one of my favourite historical romance series.
I'm reading The Best Man by Kristen Higgans.
I'm reading Dr. Dave's Stallside Manner: More Adventures Of A Country Vet by David Perrin.
Read Frost Burned and Wild Invitation and am currently addicted to Anne Bishop's Written in Red.
Read Wild Invitation, Frost Burned and The Warlock King. Can't wait for the week of the 26th when Wolf With Benefits and Kitty Rocks The House come out
I am currently reading Promises In Death by JD Robb, however i am going to start to re read all the Dark series by Christine Feehan, since i saw on her website she will not only have a new book in Sept. 2013 featuring one of Lara's auntsm but we are finally getting Skylar and Dimitri's story in Jan. 2014!
I'm currently on a non-fiction kick, reading "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed.
Ummm, hello, Wild Invitation of course! :) Almost done, and then I just don't know!
Finished Warning: Love Moderately by Marian Tee and Hybrid by Angie Reed. Now I´m reading Dunkles Feuer by Elvira Zeißler.
@Rowina: I like Kristan Higgans books. Catch of the Day is my favorite.
@Nalini: Thank you for the newsletter!
I wish you`ll a wonderful weekend!
Like everyone else wild invitation. Loved walker and lara's story reading cooper and grace's story now and read the other two stories before them. I always love your short stories after that I have to see what's out there.
This week I read Wild Invitation...loved it! Calculated in Death, by JD Robb...so good,so addicted to Eve and Roark. Also read the newest Lynsay Sands Argeneu instalment, Immortal Ever After. It seems new releases come out together.
Perfect Timing by Catherine Anderson, I love her books!
I just finished the final book of Alyssa Day's Warriors of Poseidon series, Heart of Atlantis yesterday so I'm reading Wild Invitation right now. I'll probably do a re-read of J.R. Ward's Fallen Angels books since I just got the 4th book, Rapture, this week. (I waited until the Kindle price dropped from $14.99 to $7.99 before getting it.)
Wild Invitation of course. Loved the new novellas and stayed way too late on work night but worth the sacrifice. Since then, I've been reading the Signs of the Zodiac books by Vicki Pettersson. I've just started book 4.
Reading Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle! Is so good I've already got the other three she has writen in the seires on order! Just got Wild Invitation today!! Will read it tomorrow.
I've been reading the 'Breeds' series by Lora Leigh, it's a flawed series (lots of contradictions and inconsistancies and "but didn't they have that epiphany two chapters ago?") but despite the flaws, she's created such a cool world and characters that I can't put it down.
Haven't read Wild Invitation yet, hurry up the 14th!!!
I read the book "Kein Lord wie jeder andere" von Jennifer Ashley (The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie). A hero with Asperger. What a fascinating idea! I love this book.
Finally, finally got my copy of Wild Invitation...so I probably won´t emerge from my room anytime soon^^
This past week read Beauty Awakened and Last Kiss Goodnight - Showalter and some book called Declaration of Courtship which I have been waiting on since reading that sentence about Cooper and Grace in Kiss of Snow, even though I didn't know if you would do their story. Thank you! Loved it. Now I wish it was a full length book :)
Elaine
Stephanie the contradictions is because the books were written out of sequence. she started with a ellora's cave in ebook format then went to paperback but some of the ebooks happened before and after her paperbacks. See the explaination on her website
Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs, which was awesome! Wild Invitation, which was also awesome! Reading Alpha's Mate and Alpha's Choice by Jacqueline Rhoades, and two non-fiction books. Depends on my mood. I usually have several going at once.
Teriannesis, slight contradictions within a series of books is not unusual and doesn't bother me as long as they're not too huge. It's the little contradictions contained within individual books that jarr me. I tend to read most books in one sitting, so those sorts of flaws leap out at me when I'm reading.
Like I said, I really enjoy the storys and the world, but as I read I've often thought, even with the more recent work, that she needs to find a better editor.
