Hi,
and a Happy and Healthy New Year to all of you! I just finished River´s Run Book 1 of the Lords of Kassis Series by S.E. Smith. Absolutely funny... Warrior alpha male (very alpha) meets cicus actress (knife throwing). Now I just started with Gracie´s Touch, Book 1 of the Zion warriors.
Tonight and Forever by Brenda Jackson, The Life She Left Behind by Maisey Yates, Scream My Name by Kimberly Kaye Terry and currently reading Freefall by JoAnn Ross. -Roxanne
Just discovered D.B. Reynolds' Vampires in America series. Love the whole series. Characters are super. And reread Angel's Wolf by Nalini Singh (of course).
I just finished Tangle of Need! Finally! I know it's a little (very) late, but it's been a rough year and a half. Recently, I found the strength to immerse myself in this intricate wold full of amazing HEAs again. I'm sorry I left becuase your books are so wonderful they are healing, in a way. Thankyouthankyouthankyou
Finally found time to sit down and read 'The Sending' by Isobelle Carmody. It's the sixth book in the Obernewtyn series set post apocalypse with psy type talents known as 'misfits' being persicuted by authoritarian government. It's very good! It's also kinda huge, which is why It took me so long to find time to read it. I knew once I started I wouldn't want to stop. It's a fantastic series, although not (primarily) a romance. Unfortunately I can't recommend it, for the simple reason that I started reading it in 1989 and have spent the time since counting the long empty years between books, it was originally supposed to be a trilogy, but I'm now waiting on book 7... It's a FANTASTIC series, technically YA but very well written and it never fails ti fire my imagination, but my reccomendation is save yourself the frustration I'm feeling right now and wait till it's finished. She left the damn thing on a cliffhanger again... *tears out hair*
Thats something I really like about you Nalini, you write fast and you don't leave us on a cliffhanger! Well... Apart from that last one... But at least I know that relief will come soon!
