I've just finished inputting the handwritten changes I made on the printed out draft of Tangle of Need. Woohoo! I'm hoping to start the next draft the coming week. I can already see at least one scene that'll likely need to be deleted, and I'm going to need to write further scenes in a couple of places, but it's shaping up well. I'm really enjoying being back in the Psy/Changeling world.
I also have some great news to share - Angels of Darkness hit the USA Today Bestseller list. Thanks everyone!
And a heads-up: Dear Author is holding a giveaway for Heart of Steel,
the second book in Meljean Brook's Iron Seas series. I was lucky enough to read an early copy of this book after I hounded Meljean for it asked nicely for it, and I cannot overstate its fabulousity. If you haven't read The Iron Duke, (book 1), definitely check it out. There's also an Iron Seas novella in the Burning Up anthology. All are completely awesome.
I hope you're all having a great day. Tonight, I think the tv and I are going to spend some quality time together.

Yesss! I can't wait to read it. As much as I love the Guildhunter books, I have been dying to know whats happening in the psy/changeling world. The wait seems far too long. I'm afraid though that I dont really like Meljeans books. I have read the iron duke and a short story but can't really get into them. And me and my TV spend lots of quality time together every night!!
please MORE ... NOW ... PLEEEEEASE
I can't wait to read tangle of need. Love the psy/changeling series. I liked the iron seas novella (here there be monsters) so I would love to get heart of steel as well but I still have to get the iron duke first so I can read the series in order.
At first I thought the link would lead to the cover but got really surprised when recognizing that you actually shared some pages of your new Psy/Changeling Book. Thx *a lot* for that - still it´s some kind of torture too .
ONE YEAR between Kiss of Snow and Tangle for Need - that´s a pretty long time and the worst part: still seven month to go until the year is over. And I second Saiqa: the Guildhunter series is nice too but in love I am only with the Psy/Changeling Story.
SEVEN MONTHS ... sniff
Hi Nalini, will you be able to give us an update on what full length novels you've got planned for next year. If you can't say who's story it will be what series would be good to know.
So far we know about the collection of stories in February from the guild hunter series and tangle of need. Will there be others?
I loved Meljean's iron seas stories, very different! I really loved the silver shark one too. All of your recommendations have been great and introduced me to authors I wouldn't normally of picked
Happy Thursday wishes

I agree with Haley. I like Guild Hunters, but I LOVE the Psy-Changelings. I think they were a little neglected this year. Maybe next year we get more Psy than GH?? Pretty please? I'll even take Psy-Ch novellas :).
Hey Nalini, trust you to make us start craving another Psy-Changeling novel! But I have a strategy to deal with the long wait: I've started the series from the beginning and will likely finish when Tangle of Need releases! I'm mixing it up with other novels and will definitely check out Meljean's latest.
I can't wait for the next book, been rereading all your books.....
Absolutely love both series! Although, I think the Guild Hunter ones are my favorite!
I love GH series but I love love love the psy-changelings! I have currently been rereading them again and again...and again. Nalini, please can you give a little more snippet of tangle of need? Just a teensy bit more?

I am dying to read the latest psy-changeling book! I can't wait! Thank you so much for allowing us to see some of it : ) I was surprised that this one was around Riaz and Adria as we haven't heard much about either since Play of Passion, but i'm looking forward to hear what happened between Adria and Martin and about Riaz's mate whohe couldn't claim.
Just can't wait! : )
