I'm currently reading "The Left Hand of God" by Paul Hoffman. Very dark, often cruel, but pretty good so far.

Reading Angels of Darkness and Serpent's Kiss. Both of which have pros and cons. Pros; they are both enjoyable light reads. Serpent's Kiss's hero was extremely well written as a the ultimate modern Alpha male who is not a misogynist. Cons: Angel's Wolf is very tame, I thought, in comparison to the other Guild Hunter novels - it did not leave the same impact as the other novels. The world building and overall arc are not affected by the story-line and the protagonists don't really add anything to the whole, not are they particularly memorable. Serpent's Kiss just does not have the surprising freshness of Dragon Bound and I am uncertain what the arc (if any) there is to the Elder Races books. They seem to be episodes set in an Elder Races world.

I`m still reading the Mackenzie series by Linda Howard. So far I´ve read the first three books.
@Sofia: I´ve to agree. Wolf and Zane are pure alpha male. And Zane`s little Antichrist (Nicki) is adorable.

I have just read and loved Anne Mallory's In Total Surrender. Also have Serpent's Kiss on tap to read. Lord and Lady Spy was just purchased a few days ago - 79 cents on Kindle! Obviously have Archangel's Blade on deck for a reread - Love those alpha-y male alphas. Sort of like curly blond curls.

I'm getting my YA fix by reading the Demon Trapper's Daughter and listening to The Son of Neptune. DTD is pretty good so far, lots of action, interesting (if sometimes frustrating) world and a good heroine. I hope to have more time to read it this weekend. Son of Neptune is also good so far. The narrator has some weird pronunciation quirks, though. I think I might have been better off with the actual book.

I've been re-reading a lot of books. One in particular is historical fiction, The Second Duchess. I highly recommend it!

I just finished Saints at the River by Ron Rash. His stories don't usually have what you would call a happy ending, but they are captivating and I love them. He is an amazing writer.

Today I finished Angel's wolf and loved the story. I can't wait for Galen's book! Guild Hunter is definely my favourite series and I think it'll always be. Now I'm just starting The Big Bad Wolf series by Heather Killough-Walden. The tittle definely catches the eye. After I finish maybe I'll re-read again Angel's Blood for... a sixth or seventh time. After all the last time I re-read it was only two or three monts ago.

I have just finished "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I know that it is considered 'Young Adult Fiction' but it was surprising good. I will definitely finish the rest of her trilogy collection.

Julie James is a wonderful, awesome author! I discovered her through nalini's recommendation. She has 4 books so far and am re-reading them!

I finished the sookie stackhouse companion. To be truthful, I didnt really enjoy it that much and thought it wasnt good value for money. I loved the series at the beginning but think its going a bit stale now. Especially if Sookie might not be with Eric in the next book. He's the best character in the books as far as I'm concerned!

I'm beyond broke at the moment, so am doing a lot of rereading. Currently it's Thea Harrison. I got Serpent's Kiss, but haven't read the other 2 for awhile.

I've been crazy busy too, so reading's not as productive as usual. *sniffle* This makes me sad. :(

Silver Shark - Ilona Andrews

Just discovered Ilona Andrews - Went to their website to register for free Angel's of Darkness Book (Thanks for the tip Nalini) - Fell in love with the books of this husband and wife team. Have been really busy reading every since.

Their Kate Daniel's series is awesome, but I have to say Silver Shark is one of my absolute fav's - just a short novella but the characters jump off the page. Highly recommend all their books, but especially Silver Shark.

I've finished Angel's Wolf !! Love it!! YAHOO!!
I've already known in advance that a novella has to be read differently than when I read a full length book. And I've known from reading the excerpt of Chapter ONE.. what to expect.

You never disappoint!! Thnx. <3

I love the descriptions of Nimra's court.. gorgeous flowers. But what I love the most is Nimra's gift!! Very special. The ending is great. Noel is where he's supposed to be. Love Noel & Nimra together.

One thing I don't like.. :( Sorry. :(
I'm not a fan of an anthology. It's such a waste for me. I bought Angels of Darkness just to read Angel's Wolf. I've never read the other three authors' books. So I tried them. :( Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. BUT the three stories ?? I just plain don't like them.

Angel's Wolf Rocks!!!

@AlwayV I totally agree with your comment about the other authors within an Anthology being a bit disappointing, I downloaded 'Must love Hellhounds' awhile back and whilst I loved, loved loved Nalini's book about Sara and Deacon, I couldn't relate to any of the others at all..It could be cos I've not read any of other Authors but as I'm always looking for recommendations from you guys here at the book club, I'm more then open to experience different authors but I felt their contributions weren't worth the kindle price..So I'm going to wait for Nalini's 'Angels Flight' instead..

On that note (in between running around like a headless chicken looking at bathroom suites and tiles)I'm slowly reading Seduction of a Highland Lass by Maya Banks, and have Serpents Kiss on standby next..have a great weekend people xxx

sorry I'm late, but I'm a newbie to boot. I just finished reading Slave to Sensation as my first Nalini book and it was absolutely fantastic. I found it way better than twilight and anything else I've read. I read it in one day easy and have already brought 2 more Nalini books online and can't wait for them to arrive.

I finished Linda Howard`s Mckanzie series and I`ve to admit, that I love this familiy.

Also finished Lord of the Rage and found it was better written than the first novel Lord of the Vampires. A part of the story remind me of the tale "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". - Also in this story Breena stayed and didn´t jump out of the window *g*.

@Sofia .. I wish I was strong enough to hold out & wait until March 29 for Angel's Flight.. :(
But the excerpt that Nalini posted for us was too enticing. I fell in love with Noel in his blue jeans & white T-shirt!! Had to read Angel's Wolf. <3

Hope you're stronger than I am. :)

@marama2 ... ITA with you on how spectacular the Psy-Changeling Series is!! Incomparable!!

WAIT until you get to Hawke & Sienna's story:
Kiss of Snow <3
you'll be so blown away!!
I've been rereading KoS .. so many times now. :)

@Eva ... Me too. Love the MacKenzie family. <3
I love GAME OF CHANCE the best!!
That has to be one of the most perfect HEA couples!!
