Why are the international covers so much more amazing than the US ones?

I do not like covers with a disembodied torso.

I prefer the American covers with the beautiful wings and seeing the actual characters. Honestly, if I saw this book in the bookstore I would not even pick it up to look closer.

Uber Gorgeous!!!

Love it!!!

The wings do work better on a female angel.

There's one cover with the wings on a male angel. That one kinda throw me off the cliff. There's even his awesome belt showing & the back of his jeans....

Still...Not working for me.

BUT THIS ONE!!! YUP!!
Most magnificent!!!

Thnx for posting!!

I adore these covers - and they look so pretty on my bookshelf when they're all next to each other!

hey....I also totally love those covers!...actually I find them even better than the other ones since I prefer covers where you don´t see the faces cause I like to have my own picture of the people described in the books but since the others are usually released earlier I buy those =D....

The idea for these covers is a neat concept. Thank you for sharing! Does anyone know why the wings are pictured as so small? It kind of jars.

And totally off topic, but Sasha likes a treat or dessert called a slice. Can someone please tell me what is a slice?
