Shit My Dad Says by Justin Halperm which was very funny and I was reading some Edna St. Vincent Millay poems last night, actually that would be rereading my favorite ones.
I just read Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins-- it is absolutely adorable! Cannot recommend it enough. (It's considered contemporary young adult; Perkins' exemplary storytelling, utterly believable characters and voice, and beautiful details thrilled and engaged me all the way through.) I loved it! =)
re-reading Karen Marie Monings Fever/MacKayla Lane series with a few friends in anticipation of the final book Shadowfever coming out next month...love Jericho Barrons.
I just read the new anthology, The Other Side, with a new JD Robb story; and Lynsay Sands' new book Hungry For You. Both are fun. I'm not sure what to read next...
Once again I haven't had time to read as much as I am used to at home. (if you don't count very heavy law books) But I ordered three books of Julia Quinn today, although I to save at least one for my journey home to Austria. (And I still have work to do for the University)
I'm almost done reading Caressed by Ice. I just started reading your PSY-Changeling series, and I'm lovin' it. The first book a read from you was the Guild Hunter series, and I can't wait for 2011 for Archangel's Consort~ yaaay~
Scotland is completly snowed in so I've been able to catch up with lots of reading. I revisited Karen Marie Moning's Fever series in preparation for Shadowfever which will be out in January. I also finished Suzanne McLeod's The Sweet Scent of Blood and have ordered the next in the series but don't hold out much hope for it getting delivered unless the postman has some ski's!
I just finished The Weed That Strings The Hangman's Bag, loved it. I finishing up Echo Park by Michael Connelly and just started Perdido Street Station by China Melville.
Just finished the Reckless Bride by Stephanie Laurens, which was much better than I expected.
I think I had become a lazy reader as far as her latest series was concerned -- skipping through so quickly that I missed the best part, her great descriptions and language. This series ender was so massive that I took a step back and read through it slowly, enjoying the journey rather than looking for the action.
The end result is... I TOTALLY want to take a river cruise across Europe, and I think I will go back and re-read the other books slowly. :)
On my kindle, waiting to be read, are: Devoured by Darkness by Alexandra Ivy, In the Dark of Dreams by Marjorie M Liu, and The Other Side by JD Robb et al.
I'm reading the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian and Elixor by Hillary Duff. Just finished re-reading The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost and am also going to be starting Meljean Brooks The Guardian Series soon.
Finished "The Other Side" withthe J.D. Robb novella as usual it is the only story in there worth reading. Also finished "Hungry for You" by Lynsay Sands it was really great. I am also done with the new Cheyenne McCray book "Vampires not Included" it wasnt bad
Just finished Cherise Sinclair - Master of the Mountain. Definitely not mainstream and my first dip into this genre (erotic fiction with BDSM *blushes*) and I thought it was very well written and I SO enjoyed that the heroine was a plus-size woman with her own body issues (but never became whiny about it). It also had enough romance in there to keep me reading... and I will probably buy more of Ms Sinclair's work.
I read The Heir by Grace Burrowes which I loved. Also enjoyed The Hunt by Anne Marsh. I need to finish Vampire Empire The Greyfriar by Clay Griffith and Susan Griffith as I stopped just as the heroine has been kidnapped.
I am reading behind closed doors with Shannon Mckenna. Really sexy, hot, steamy and brilliantly written. Excellent plot, I have to say I have read 300 pages in one day and can't wait to read the rest.
I'm reading Harvest Moon. It's an anthology, and I bought it mainly because I can't wait for the next book in Michelle Sagara's Elantra series. Cast in Moonlight is good, but a bit too short, imo. I'mr eading the other two novellas now.
I've just finished "An unforgettable Lady" by J R Ward really enjoyed it but, i read it way too fast! Tommorrow, i'm off to get my copy of "Shadowheart" by Tad williams. I've soooo been looking forward to this book. Only annoying thing is it seems to be next to impossible to find!
Demon Forged by Meljean Brooks. I love Irena's "take no prisoners" attitude. Also I love the fact that Alejandro gets turned on whenever Irena hits him...and has NO PROBLEM with it. I keep thinking that eventually I will get bored with the series, but every book holds my interest to the end, and because I am not reading them in order--which is soooo not like me--I keep coming across bits that I don't understand or missed in another book and keep going back for the missing titles.

Currently reading the I-Team series by Pamela Clare (on the 3rd book) and this series is just amazing! Top notch!
I'm a few pages into Marjorie Liu's latest D&S series, "In the Dark of Dreams." It's very good so far.
I'm drowning in historical romance. Never wanted to read it, but I'm addicted now. Been reading Julia Quinn and Lisa Kleypas.
Just got Devoured by Darkness by Alexandra Ivy in the mail today. Already to Chapter 4. :)
