I reread Play of Passion yesterday, and today I'm continuing to work my way through Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. I finished Witches Abroad, and am on Small Gods. Fun!
I'm on book 3 of the Tairen Soul series b y C.L.Wilson. I waited for the final book before reading the 3rd, 4th & 5th. I'm really enjoying this series.
I just finished Andrea Cremer's YA book Nightshade. It was very good (and her first novel to boot!), and I'm looking forward to the second book in this new series next year.
I chuckle my way through EARTH (the book) - A Visitor's Guide to the Human Race by Jon Stewart & The Daily Show. I hope to find some free time on Sunday to reread The Bitterbynde Trilogy by Cecilia Dart-Thornton.
The Last Twighlight by Marjorie M Liu. Just recently got turned on to the Dirk and Steele series and want to read them all before the next book comes out. :)
I'm still working on "Deadly Intent" from last week. I made it to page 12; not because of the interest level but because I'm so dog-boned tired by day's end that I fall asleep with book in hand.
I finished Play of Passion (Loved it! whoop whoop!)and now am turning my attention to CL Wilsons 'The Crown of Crystal Flames' which is the 5th and final instalment in her amazing Tairen Soul series! If you haven't come across these books, then please take my word for it and start with the 'Lord of the fading lands' I promise you won't be disappointed..
Oh I forgot, I also finished 'Indulgence in death' by JD Robb, and I've decided to give up on this series as the books are all beginning to sound and feel 'same old same old..' So thanks Eve and Roarke, and Peabody and Mcnabb et al...RIP!
I just finished "Shades of Atlantis." It's a YA romance with some mythological/paranormal thrown in. Very enjoyable: http://omnificpublishing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=33&products_id=36&zenid=47daff3fb01b37ca599e4869b740ff6a

Just finished Moning's Dreamfever -can't wait for the final installment. Great characters and world building, but it did take me some time to really get into the series.
I read Plays of Passion. It was fantastic. the parts about Hawke were a tease! Also read Allyson James' Firewalker which was good. And I Also read Lora Leigh's Breed series. Until time...
Just finished reading Jory Strong's Ghostland. Now I'm giving Sarah McCarty a try. Running Wild is the title of the book.
Btw, thanks for recommending Lois McMaster Bujold. The Sharing Knife series was a treasure to read and is now residing on my keeper shelf. Dag and Fawn's story will be a favorite reread.
I finished The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook today, and it was really fantastic. Great world-building and characters. I also liked the short story set in that world that was in the Burning Up anthology. Can't wait for the next book in the series!
