It's book club time! What've you been reading and loving this week?
I actually didn't do too much reading while I was traveling, but I did read the fantastic Beyond the Rain by Jess Granger. Jess is going to be guest-blogging with me very soon, so we'll chat more about the book then, but if you enjoy science fiction romance, check this one out.
Okay, your turn!

G'morning I'm glad you got home safely. 'Burning up',Death's Excellent Vacation and Eternal Kiss of Darkness arrived this week and there are what I've been reading. I love Ria and Emmett story.
I'm just starting "Burning Up." Not surprising that I'm loving it. Coming from a large Chinese-American family, I'm enjoying the subtle nuances you captured, particularly that of PoPo. My PoPo was a fine-boned 4'10" woman who could knock down opponents with the fewest of words!
First of all I wanted to say that last week I read "Archangels Kiss"....and I LOVED LOVED it! I always prefered your Psy/Cha series but now I cant wait to read AC. I have just finished a teenage paranormal book "Fallen" - it was OK (as it goes with Teenage books)
I just started to read "On the Road" - Jack Kerouac.
Reading Eternal Kiss of Darkness at the moment. Erin Mccarthy's Hot Finish for this weekend. Its gonna be good. :)
Hope you're over the jet-lag Nalini!
I can't wait to read Ria & Emmett's story! *keeps checking library catalogue for movement*
I'm currently reading two fantasy novels (I think the same two I mentioned last week :) - Janny Wurts' The Curse of the Mistwraith and Lynn Flewelling's Stalking Darkness. The latter has just taken a very decided turn...the villians have the upper hand!
I loved "Whisper of Sin"! I also read and loved Kathryne Kennedy's The Fire Lord's Lover. I'm in the middle of rereading Loretta Chase's Don't Tempt Me. After that, I'm not sure...
Waiting for Burning Up to be delivered! Just finished Ethernal Kiss of Darkness and am starting Shadow Chase by Seressia Glass. Good so far.
I have a huge pile of new books to read, including "Burning Up", but first I need to finish "Shades of Gray" by Lisanne Norman. I've been waiting 6 years for a new book by her. She left us hanging in the last book and I've been waiting impatiently ever since.
Well Burning Up, Eternal Kiss of Darkness, Death's Excellent Vacation, Heart Journey, Water Bound, Bedeviled Angel, all just arrived. I don't know what to pick up first. Just finished reading The Wish List by Gabi Stevens. Its going to be an excellent reading month for me!
Been reading All that Mullarkey by Sue Moorcroft and then it was on too His for the taking by Sarah Parr, some nice hR
Have started reading Lynne Connolly's Richard and Rose series and am loving it. Nearly finished Devonshire and will be on to the next book in the series.
I started to read the german version of Archangel's Kiss. I like the story til now, let's see if I will falling in love with it :)
I also love the Whisper of Sin. For me it is one of the books I ever read. I recommend that everyone should read it. It is a great book.
Just finished Robin Owens, Heart Journey. Great addition to her series. Her fam-pets are just too cute!
Any chance you can get her to guest blog?
Okay, so this week I read Burning Up, loved Emmet and Ria's story. Also read Children of the Sea series by Virgina Kantra and the Zodiac series by Vicki Pettersson. Highly recommend both series. And I read Jealousy by Lili St. Crow which was good to.
I actually JUST read this book when I got back from Nationals because I'd picked up Beyond the Shadows at the conference. These books were great, really different and entertaining. I finished Bonds of Justice the day I got back and LOVED it!
I'm currently reading Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt, but next on my list is Burning Up. *woots*
This week I finished Jealousy by Lili St.Crow (good book) and Song of Scarabaeus by Sara Creasy ( the first SciFi I´ve read in ages).
While both didn´t make my all-times-favorite list, they were quite enjoyable reads.
Hello, I've got "Bonds of Justice" after weeks of waiting and I've read it all at once. It's a fantastic book, Nalini!!
After that a have read "Flatout sexy" and "Hard and Fast" from Erin McCarthy, I really liked these books. Now I have to stop reading so much and deside what I want to have with me during my year in England, since I have only two weeks left at home!!!
Thanks for the shout out, Nalini.
I just finished Bonds of Justice while I was at Conference, when I should have been working.
I'm so addicted, it's embarrassing. But I LOVE it!
read Burning Up (awesome!) and am trying to figure out what to do next. I have nevada Barr, Jim Butcher, Majorie Liu and Meljean Brook all on my TBR list.... where to start, where to start.
I absolutely want to get burning up and read emmet and ria's story and I checked out the excerpt from beyond the rain and it seems really interesting so that might be another one I look at when I'm looking for something to read but there are too many good books out and too little time to read them all, darn it.
Just finished Burning up, Loved Ria and Emmett story and I cant wait for the next Steampunk books by Brooks. Question does anyone know what steampunk means?
I also just finished Heart Journey by Robin Owens. My next book is 206 Bones by Kathy Reich. (non romance forensic anthropoligist (SP?) I am counting the days until the end of the month when I get a new Feehan and and a new Lynsay Sands book.
Oops , I forgot my tagline on my last post.
I vote we all gang up on Nalini and flood her with emails demanding that she give an answer on how soon we will find out who the Ghost is? Will it be in Hawke's book?
I am not suggesting she tell us who the ghost is just WHEN WILL SHE REVEAL IT. So everyone out there get out your email account and bombard her. LOL
Sorry I didn't notice I had forgotten to write my name on my comment last time until it came up anonymous.
Read Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost. It was great!
So I started Dark Embers by Tessa Adams and it's good.
I read "Ritual" by Mo Hayder. This thriller was temporarily really scary and macabre.. but good:-).
