Not to be greedy (oh who am I kidding?!), but do we already have a cover blurb and I missed it??

Those look like ruins behind Elena, and inquiring minds want to know...

Lisa said...

Wow this is beautiful!!!

That is GORGEOUS! I love Elena's eyes especially. Do you happen to have a larger image available?

FiveAcres said...

Nice to see covers that get it right.

FYI the cover for Archangel's Kiss is in the 2011 calendar the artist is offering for sale on his website. Maybe Archangel's Consort in the 2012?!

OMG, that's STUNNING! I LOVE all the covers of this series; they are some of my favs EVER! =)

Anonymous said...

The cover is great!

Haylo said...

I like it because you can see a lot of Elena. But, I don't like that she's drawn so pale. Her multi-ethnic background is a big part of who she is, so to see her seeming to be your typical blond/blue is really jarring to me.

LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!

Taryn Kincaid said...

Wow!!! Awesomely fabulous. The best one yet! Can't wait.

Sara said...

I know I'm the minority here, but I don't like it too much. I like Archangel's Kiss a lot more.

TracyW said...

The cover is really beautiful! I can't wait for the book!

Anonymous said...

The cover is nice but I agree with Halo and Sarah. I always pictured Elena as golden and tawny as she appears in the Archangel's Kiss cover...here she appears pale and washed out and her boobies appear bigger and her wings smaller? Perhaps the boobies make the wings appear smaller? ;)

Jenny Schwartzberg said...

It's stunning! You have the greatest covers!! Now I'm wondering if those ruins and jungle atmosphere mean Elena is in South America or Southeast Asia. Hmmmmm.

felinewyvern said...

That is a stunning cover! Absolutely gorgeous.

GORGEOUS!....but where's the Archangel & the angel dust?
I also remember reading that angel's wings drag the ground. -c

Courtney said...

AAAHHH!!! I LOVE IT!!!! That's almost just like I pictured Elena's wings. And she looks so badass, which rocks purple socks. Nalini's writing and Tony Mauro's artwork? A match made in heaven!

Diane said...

Oh! it's beautiful!

_snitchbitch said...

Gorgeous! I can't wait to see what the Australian cover is going to be like, because the cover art for the Oz books are quite lovely and simplistic...

Meg said...

Nalini!

Question: Are the cover models the same on each of the books?? Or are they different??? I think they are different but can't tell for sure and it's really annoying me right now, haha.

They are all beautiful covers tho! ;-)

Jackie (Literary Escapism) said...

AHHH!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH <3 <3 This makes me crazy that I can't go out and buy it NOW!

Very nice. I'm wondering if its the same artist produced the last two covers? I know I'm a might minority but I like the previous cover more.

When vampire hunter Elena Deveraux became an angel, with magnificent wings the colours of midnight and dawn, it turned her world upside down. Her lover, the stunningly dangerous archangel Raphael, is used to being in control even when it comes to the woman he considers his own. But Elena has never done well with authority . . . especially not when it seems Raphael is the one who needs her help. The archangels may be almost all-powerful, but there are some things that only a Guild Hunter can get done, and Elena and Raphael may be heading for their most dangerous investigation yet.

Isn't Ellie supposed to be more golden skinned? It's a nice cover but like a couple others I pictured her with a nice golden glow.

As many people said here, the cover is good but doesn't really match Elena..the previous two covers conveyed her better.

Anonymous said...

Cover is OK, too simple though, and Elena seems pouty, pale, yellow blond, purple shirt?? Arch's Kiss shows her darker skinned, darker clothed, lighter hair - more like I picture her given her grandmother's heritage. Still, love the books, can overlook the cover.
