Last week, I had a radio interview with the lovely Helen Lowe. If you'd like to listen, go to this link.

I've started working on Hawke's book - wrote a great scene yesterday. I tend to write my way into a story, and often, some of the scenes aren't used in the final manuscript. However, I think this scene will definitely make it :-)
How is the week going for you all?

Magic Bleeds is most awesome *nods*
And yay for Hawke's book! LOL, can you tell I'm excited for this one? :P
Bought Magic Bleeds--read it-loved it-got no work done at home until it was done. It was one of those books I had to read the last couple pages first. Love this series.
Very excited for Hawke's book. Can't wait for some sneak peeks =)!
Such a tease! I can't wait for more (read: excerpts) from Hawke's book.
Can't wait for Max's book to help tie me over.
I love the KD series. Kate and Curran are an awesome couple. One thing that I find so unique about this series is the strong focus on mythology. Really well-written.
I was just re-reading Branded by Fire for the nth time today. I loved the scenes with our fav. alpha. Can't wait, Nalini.
I am curious, do you write your books in scenes and then put them together and fill in the missing pieces or do you tend to write from beginning to end? Thanks
Debra
@Debra - scenes usually, though I do sometimes write a longer continuing sequence.
Huge Ilona fan too. Just started Magic Bleeds last night.
And of course dying for your next one Nalini!
Magic Bleeds is an awesome read! And I discovered Ilona Andrews thanks to you Nalini (re: Must Love Hellhounds anthology)... Raphael and Andrea did the rest.
;D

I love this series, but alas will have to settle for borrowing the book from the library as there is no eBook!
Nalini--the interview was fun and it was great to talk with you again. I am looking forward to settling down with Archangel's Kiss soon.
My Magic bleeds hasn't arrived yet... Hope to pick it up tomorrow on the way to spend my afternoon in the chemo suite with my MIL... you did as the TMI of how your week is going... sigh... Highs and Lows... Skipped spring and went straight to the 90F's - 30C's.
I have to admit I'm leary of Hawke's book. Too many people wanting too many things and brings back memories of other kerfuffles... with other authors.
By the way, good interview. I agree with you on the bit about the popularity of the PNR genre. For me, contemporaries with Alpha males rarely translate well onto the paper. More often than not, they become caricatures. Only a handful of authors - Lisa Kleypas, Lora Leigh (at times) pull them off quite well.
Hey Nalini. Great work starting on Hawke's book!!Can't wait!! And what a terrific interview!! I hope everyone gives it a listen!!Congrats on the nominations as well!!!
I have thought about reading Ilona's books, but just never have. However, now that they have the Nalini "Seal of Approval", well......I guess it will be a must now!! I will be heading over to fiction database now to get her reading order. Thanks!! Always looking for great authors to read. So little time....SOOOOO many GREAT books (and authors)!!!!
So... now I´m wishing Vasic would visit me for a quick trip to New Zealand (Doing a bit spying*g*).
