I'm reading Never Love a Lawman by Jo Goodman and it's terrific. I hope she's written other western historicals.
For my audios while I run and walk, I am going through Eve and Roarke for the second time. I just love those - I laugh quite bit, and I love the little futuristic bits.
I'm reading my Critical Care Nursing Diagnosis and Management book. Topics: DIC, SIRS, MODS, FHF, CRRT, SIADH, DI, hyper- and hypoparathyroism. Big exam this Friday.
I devoured Archangel's kiss ^_^ So wonderful! I can not wait for #3 now. and I really, really want Illium's and Galen's stories! pretty, pretty please?
I am trying to get Lion's heat, but my local store doesn't have it in yet *grrr* we'll try another one this weekend.
I've just read 'Fired Up' by Jayne Ann Krentz and enjoyed it. Just last week I read 'Blaze of Memory' and loved it. I'm REALLY looking forward to 'Archangels Kiss', and Hawkes book in 2011.
Finished the Spooks Squad series be Keri Arthur. Only 3 books and she left us with nothing but more questions! Why can an author stop a series without a proper ending? Is that allowed? Then I read all the league books of Sherrilyn Kenyon and today Atlantis redeemed arrived! Yay but first I finish "dark challenge" by Christine Feehan. For next week I requested lots of Julia Quinn books in my Library!
I'm 100 pages away from finishing Promise me Tonight, by Sara Lindsey - Great book! And now I'm missing The Bridgerton books by Julia Quinn... I think I'm going to do some serius re-reading untill It's Lover Mine time. =)
I've been rereading a lot of Jo Beverley's books, and loved her brand-new The Secret Duke. Also Patricia Briggs' Silver Borne is wonderful. I'm currently rereading Mercedes Lackey's Foundation.
Nothing, I'm way too busy writing. My self-imposed deadline is looming. But I have a bag filled with books To Be Read. They include The Battle Sylph by L.J. McDonald and Twice as Hot by Gena Showalter. How's that?
I just finished Twilight. Though I can see why Edward Cullen has appeal (what teenage girl wouldn't get an ego boost from a sexy vampire being obsessed with her), he was too creepy-stalker for me to really warm up (haha) to him and I wish Bella had more of a backbone. I don't feel much of an urge to read the rest of the series, but curiosity may lead me to the library for them.
Now I'm starting The Star King by Susan Grant because I've got a hankering for scifi romance. I liked her book The Warlord's Daugher, so I'm looking forward to getting into this book.
Courtney--Bella doesn't grow a backbone at all in the entire series (Well, to be fair, I couldn't bring myself to read the last book, she grates on my nerves too much). I much prefer my heroine to have some gumption, and a good, healhty relationship with the hero. (Even in YA books).
Just finished The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen. It is a gentle novel and hit my mood just right. She wrote Garden Spells & the Sugar Queen. I am looking forward to her next one. I am currently reading Flesh and Fire:Book One of the Vinearts. It is very slow going but I hear it is the first of 3 books.
I read "Eternal Seduction" by Jennifer Turner. I came across this book through amazon.com. I have to say that I loved it. It is about a drug user who meets a vampire who is the lord of New York and everything starts form there. The story was sensual, funny and very different to the vampires stories that I read before. I highly recommend this book. I got mine on eBay because is a little price it.
This past week I went on a sort-of binge and re-read all of the Psy-Changeling books in order. In particular trying to figure out the possible clues to the identity of the ghost and also to have a good cry especially with Kayta almost dying. I really wondered how you were going to pull her through that--WOW!
Just finished Kindred in Death this morning while lazing in bed. Am still trying to digest it since I read it in almost one sitting - I took 6 hours off to sleep. Am now looking forward to getting Pamela Clare's Naked Edge
I found a new author...well she is new to me...Kim Lenox. I started backwards with her series (Shadow Guard) without knowing... I just finish Darker than Night in the series. There are three books so far. I finish it in a day and it was a well written book... I loved it... paranormal in the victorian age...it was different but GREAT!!!
