Thai Release & Other Fun Things

For my Thai readers - Caressed By Ice will be out in Thai at the end of this week. Follow the link to read more.

The website has been updated, and there's a contest up to win an advanced reading copy (ARC) of Blaze of Memory.

The Borders True Romance blog has just launched and the lineup of guest authors this week includes Linda Howard, Julia Quinn, and someone whose name begins with N. ;) My post will be up on the 21st, and there will be a chance to win books and an ARC of Blaze of Memory!

And a question for those of you who live in Germany - anyone in Frankfurt? I'll be passing through on a flying visit later this year. Email me if if you'd like to do coffee :)

How is the week treating everyone so far?

Congratulations to Jennifer P!

Thank you for another ARC opportunity Nalini! And I still think that Thai cover is stunning!

So far, the week is going by uneventfully (in a good way). Hope everyone else is having a good week!

Hi Nalini,

I am in Germany but unfortunately in Munich, perhaps you'll come there :-)?
The week looks fantastic partly because I am reading your Psy/Changeling books (book 2 just started). I really can't wait for Archangel's Kiss. Any news about the blurb, any excerpt :-). I'll take what I can get (lots of giggles).
Hope your week is great so far.

Nalini,

there are two Frankfurt in Germany.
Frankfurt/Main (FFM) und Frankfurt/Oder (FFO).

But I think it will be Frankfurt/Main (FFM) because this airport is much bigger and international as this in FFO.
But who knows where the airplanes are flying... ;-)

I look forward to welcome you in Germany...

We have very good coffee and yet better cakes... like "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte"... you will love it!! ;-)

I love that Thai covers!

I hoping to hear about a new job this week! Did the drug screening today so it must be going in the right direction. *fingers crossed*

Love the Borders True Romance new site but I was wondering, will readers outside the USA be able to enter the contest for books?

I really hope so, would love a second chance to win an ARC of Blaze of Memory!

Hi Nalini,

if you are in Frankfurt in the week of the Bookfair in October, why don't you visit it? I'm sure the people at Lyx would love to meet you! Me too, of course. :-)

Anon, as far as I know, it should be open to all :)

Michelle - unfortunately I won't be there at that time - it would be so fun to attend the book fair!

Weird coincidence. I plan on making a stop over at Frankfurt too. On my way to India from Toronto. Going to be sometime in November :)

Nalini,
Just wanted to say that I devoured the last book and am anxiously awaiting the next.
On a Bollywood note, I met Shah Rukh Khan this weekend!! What a gracious, gorgeous man he is. Fantastic!
Have a great week!

Good luck on the job, Aymless! I am waiting to hear back from one, too. In the mean time, I have to finish putting together my syllabus before the first faculty meeting.

I still hope that your books will come out in French or Spanish, Nalini. My German is practically non-existent. But I do adore the Thai cover!

Amless and Christina - Thumps up! Hope you`ll get the job.
@Amless - As a Case Manager for unemployment people I`m curious: Is it usual to do a drug screening during the application process in the USA?

Damn! - The Airport in Munich would be perfect:-). Frankfurt is over 395 Km far from my hometown.

Eva: It depends on the field. I'm in bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing so it's pretty standard in my field.

@Aymless: Thank`s for answering. (Now I`m a bit smarter:-). My usual client`s are - sadly - not as good educated as you).
