I've started work on the next Guild Hunter book, currently titled Angel's Kiss. I was happily surprised to open the file and realize I already had over 50 pages. Woohoo!
I got the chance to read Angels' Blood already and the only thing I dislike about is that I now have to wait even longer to get the sequel. Loved the novel!
Right now, I'm trying to clean off my desk, but there is just too much paperwork on it. I'm intimidated. :)
Same thing, different weekend. Visiting with a friend and going to knitting group tomorrow, hanging with my husband and daughter the rest of the weekend.
Said daughter has decided that she no longer needs naps, which isn't so bad. I don't get a break during the day, but hubby and I are no longer are awakened at three AM by a toddler who can't get back to sleep without parental intervention.
So here's to getting a full night's sleep for the first time in a long time! I have to enjoy this as it will disappear as soon as I give birth. LOL
Finding 50 pages is a good surprise! I just found $10 in the dryer yesterday, probably my husband's, but finders keepers, right? :) This week is pretty standard for us. Lots of Lego and train building during the day...just got lots of new books from Amazon..that keeps me busy at night:)
My car died its final death on Sunday and did it in STYLE. It was the middle of the night and I was on the interstate and suddenly I hear the engine start to rattle. Within two-three miles its joined by this scraping noise, and then boom! the engine turns itself off, the battery and oil lights come on, and I'm left coasting down the interstate with an entrance ramp between me and the shoulder.
Needless to say, the engine was SMOKING when I finally brought that sucker to a halt.
So now, not only do I not have a job, I don't have a car either. Life just keeps getting better and better! (I gotta laugh or else I'd cry)

Oooh, less than a month until Angel's Blood - I'm excited :)
I'm catching up on school work and studying for the MPRE. In other words, nothing exciting.
I noticed a while back that you watched North & South with Richard Armitage. Isn't it fantastic?
I hope the writing continues to go smoothly for you :)
Hugs,
Kat
Good luck with your studies, Kat. And N&S is sooooo good. I'm planning to get the DVD so I can watch that last scene over and over and over...
Isn't it great when you realise you're further along that you thought :) Good luck with the writing Nalini.
As for me, this weekend is a long one (YAH!) so I'm planning to vegetate/read (and watch the cricket). Let's see how I do come Monday :)
And yes, Richard Armitage in that last scene *SIGH*
Just don't do what I do and start the DVD at 1AM thinking you're only going to watch part 1.
Then part 2.
Then....
Crud, now I want to watch it again. LOL.
