Contest Clues

So for this contest, there are going to be posts up every day, and I'm thinking we should make things interesting and ask everyone to answer a question to enter.

What are some questions you'd like to ask your fellow readers? Here are some I came up with:
  • Where do you like to read?
  • Do you think breaking the spine of a book is part of reading or is it sacrilege?
  • If you could have your wicked way with one paranormal creature, what would you choose?
I need more questions, so suggestions welcome!

And as for those clues...what do Blue Diablo, Riding on Instinct, Magic Strikes, Ghostland, Eve of Darkness, and Nauti Intentions have in common?

Questions Well maybe, What paranormal power would you choose and why? Do you sneak peek at the end of the story or are those fighting words? If you were stranded on a desert island who would you want to be stranded there with?
Hope that helps

Questions: 1) If you use an e-book reader, which do you use and why? 2) How many times have you read through your favorite keeper book(s)? 3) Which author would you target with a gun/ability/spell/whatever that makes them write the same great quality stuff, but FASTER (because isn't that what we all want - more great books by our fav writers)!?!?

This sounds like a lot of fun, Nalini!

Here are my contributions:
*Do you read the next book teasers at the end of a book?
*Name the book you've reread the most and how many times you've read it?
*What series characters haunt your dreams the most?
*Do you read hardback books with the cover on or off?
*When you loan a hardback book out, is it with or without the cover?

That's I think enough for now. I'm racking my brain about your clues...*whispers to Azteclady, "hint please?!?!*

Hmmm - how about do you have a bookmark or do you *gasp* bend the corners of the pages?

How about: Bookmarks or no bookmarks? If you don't use bookmarks how do you keep track of where you were in the book? If you do use bookmarks, what type do you like?

'nother question: How often do you flip to the end of the book early?

And as far as the clues...they are all upcoming April releases most of which are on my to be read list!

Have a great day!

When you finish a book, do you dive right into the next one, or ruminate on the one you just read?

I think we all have our favorite hero/heroine, but what about a memorable villain. Who do you think has been the meanest and most evil person that you have read about and why?

Lori T said...

Oh, the clues are all on my to be bought list!!

Okay, for some questions:

What was the last "new you to author" that you read and what made you choose there book?

Does a book's cover have an impact on whether or not you buy it? Have you ever bought a book based on the cover alone?

What is your comfort read?

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Great question everyone!!! Hhhmmm. What about:

What cliche(s) in a book drives you to the point of batty (and/or beyond)? (And this could be personality or physical traits or plot- or character related)?

How you ever thrown a book across the room in disgust?

Question: can you read more than one book at once or do you think it takes away from the full experience?

Question 2: if you find books you really, really like, do you keep them or do you sell them?

Question 3: can you sell/give away/lend your books?

Question 4: if you do keep your books & make a collection out of them must they be exactly the same? For instance, only hardcovers of a certain height?

Who is our favorite paranormal author...besides Nalini Singh. Do you have to read in total silence or can you block out background noise. Can you put down a really good back when you are in the middle of it and it is Midnight?

Another question is what do you have keepers and if so where do you store them.

Where is you favorite setting for a story.
