RAW Pictures Part II

As promised, more pictures from RAW, with some reader pictures too! (If I took a picture of you and it's not up, can you email to let me know it's ok to post it? Also, send me your shots! Some of mine didn't come out.)

We open today with a picture of me with Courtney (who posts on this blog with a Puss In Boots avatar), and Courtney's sock in progress. I now pass the mike to Courtney to explain the significance of this *grin* (Thanks for the photo, Courtney!)

Shiloh Walker, international woman of mystery.

With my dancing partners Brean & Sukhee. (Thanks for the photo, Sukhee!)

Lucy Monroe and her hunky pirate husband.

With Mermaid Carol - isn't her costume just gorgeous?!!

And to close, here's one of Naomi (who has promised to delurk on the blog) & Courtney knitting in the hotel lobby - which was the place to be to meet everyone :)

That Shiloh chick is funny... and I second what Orannia said--great pictures, and how cool to put faces to the names I recognize.

LOL Okay, the deal with the sock: there is a knitter/blogger/author called the Yarn Harlot who is utterly hilarious and started the trend of including your sock-in-progress in pictures of stuff. It's become a bit of a tradition for those of us who read her books (which, if you knit in a place other than under a rock, you probably have done or at least heard of).

Knitting and reading romance are my passions, so combining the two at RAW was fun. I had my knitting near me the whole time and I got pics of the sock with Nalini, JR Ward, Lora Leigh, and several friends whom I typically only see online.

And yeah, that Shiloh chick is a little mysterious, but she has freaking adorable offspring! Bratlet (same age as my Peanut) in her dragon costume was especially cute. I really wanted to ask Shiloh to hold my sock, but it wasn't big enough to hide her face from the camera. LOL (((Shiloh)))

It looks like it was a ton of fun!

Would enough chocolate be able to bribe you, Nalini, on the X designation? I wouldn't mind airmailing it to New Zealand for you! Will we find out more about it soon?

And I can not wait for Mercy's book. I reread CBI last night, and I really want to see the wolves again!

(And next time you really gotta have a bigger sock for Shiloh ;-) )

That big huge thing I was knitting was a lap blanket for JR Ward. Next time, I'll be sure to knit you something. That is if I ever get my butt in gear and start more projects. LOL!

It was so wonderful meeting you and spending time with you at RAW. You are absolutely one of the nicest, sweetest authors I've met and it makes me love your books even more! Not that I'm complimenting you to try to get insider info on upcoming books or anything. *blinks innocently*

Thank you for the pictures Nalini!
I can only agree with orannia. (It`s nice to put a face to a name).

Courtney: Nice colour for socks:-).

Christina: That`s a good idea! - If it works, I would sent a big chocolate packet too.
(Wouldn`t that be a good deal Nalini? ... To envisage creamy, sweet and full-bodied chocolate in exchange for some informations about Sienna...).
