Video Interview!

While at the RWA conference in San Francisco, I was interviewed by the lovely Morgan Doremus for Romantic Times BOOKreviews. That interview has now gone live (in four parts).

I've embedded one of the segments below - where I talk about my writing process, particularly in relation to Slave to Sensation, but you can see the other three parts, as well as interviews with a number of other authors, on the Romantic Times website. :)

p.s. See - I don't have an accent!

OMG! This is awesome! You're awesome! I seriously heart ya. SF was one of the happiest times ever. Cannot wait until next year. :D

I really enjoy the books too, so keep it going. ;)

Accent? What accent? I don't have an accent either, ya know. ^_~

Nice interview! I'm headed over to see the other segments...

I always enjoy hearing 'behind the scenes' stories from authors.

That was sooo interesting - it's always great to hear the author's 'other voice' !

Wow...you write so fast! I'm jealous. LOL!

And you do have an accent but it's lovely. :) I've always loved the NZ accent. My very first boyfriend lived in NZ for oh...3 years and had picked it up while living there. Anytime I hear someone talk w/ the accent, it makes me feel happy. :)

And I'm going to go to bed now. I've had a killer migraine all day, so it's off to bed I go. Great segments, by the way. :)

Orannia & Bridget - that three weeks was the first draft only. Don't want you all thinking I can write an entire book that way!! I then edited and edited. But I have to say, StS was truly a book that it felt just magic to write. :)

Alice - I heart you back! I've got your leopard sitting right where I see him every day :) Maybe he needs to make a blog appearance hmmm...

Jennifer - me too! I went and watched all the Christine Feehan videos. She's such a great lady.

Willa - glad you enjoyed it! I always think my voice sounds nothing like what I think it sounds like LOL

Jae - thanks! I'm going to let Morgan know that people are enjoying the videos - she was such a great interviewer.

Sharbee - I knew you'd agree with me! ;)

Hearing Nalini Singhs voice...- Great; I really love the internet! (That`s my highlight for today!)

Accent? - I heard none (At least as a english-layman).

You have a really nice voice. It is so nice to be able to put a face and the voice together.
