I know many of you are fans of Anne Bishop's Black Jewels world, so I thought this might be of interest - there's going to be a new Black Jewels book in March 2009!! It's called The Shadow Queen and you can read the backcover copy on Anne Bishop's website. I can't wait to get my hands on it!!
How about you all? What're you looking forward to? Any interesting book release info to share?

Oh yes, I am so totally waiting for "The Shadow Queen". It sounds like it's going to be really good.
Definitely looking forward to the "Shadow Queen". I'm also really happy that a new Loretta Chase is about to come out at the end of May. Then the beginning of June nets the next JR Ward. The summer reading schedule is looking good.
I'm looking foward to hints about Mercy? *blink blink* =D
Katie(bab) blogged the picture for Seduce Me at Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas. ^_^
want want want.
want want want
Way cool! I finally had the opportunity to finish Tangled Webs and was starting think about when I could get my hands on another Black Jewel book.
June has me waiting for Lover Enshirned by JR Ward as well.
September has Nalini written all over it with Hostage to Pleasure and Heart Fate by Robin D. Owens taking up a bit of a corner.
I'm with Alice... Need Mercy hints!
I'm really looking forward to The Shadow Queen *reads off to read back cover*
I've just been chatting to Kerry about TBR piles - mine is rather insane...however, I'm hanging out for Ink Exchange, Lover Enshrined, Hostage to Pleasure, Seduce Me At Sunrise...oh, and your short story in The Magical Christmas Cat Nalini. I so like the sound of Zane :)
And I third (can you third anything? If so, I do) the request for Mercy hints please? Would bribes help? I'm sure we can rustle up some bribes :)

OK, I just read the back cover! WOW! When it is being released again?
Out of interest, does anyone else read a back cover or an excerpt and wants the book ASAP...or finish a book (e.g. MTP *grin*) and wants the sequel like yesterday?

Okay, so that's on my TBR list along with everything by you that's coming out, the new stuff by Patricia Briggs, and the three new books coming out by Richelle Mead this fall. I'm looking forward to "The Shadow Queen" because it is set in the Black Jewels world but is a side story with different characters, much like "The Invisible Ring". So can't wait!
OH! I want!

This describes a very familiar scenario for me. I'm one of the few people I know of who knew what a lay down date was before Harry Potter.
I've mostly resigned myself to the knowledge that however fast my favorite authors write it will never compare to the speed I read. On the bright side May in my house means that the WisCon science fiction convention is about to happen, and I know that lots of new books will follow me home from there while I wait for things like HtP to be published.
Oh, the TBR pile...
Waiting on me now:
Maria Snyder - Fire Study
Ilona Andrews - Magic Burns
The last 4 books in the Rogue Angel series
And about 22 other various and sundry books
Ones I'm waiting on:
The next Rogue Angel - the Soul Stealer
Gena Showalter - Darkest Kiss and Darkest Pleasure
Jacquelyn Frank - Damien
Christine Warren - Walk on the Wild Side
Sherrilyn Kenyon - Phantom in the Night
Johanna Lindsey - No Choice But Seduction
Linda Howard - Death Angel
Marjorie Liu - The Iron Hunt
Angela Knight - Time Hunters
Rescue Me anthology
Alexis Morgan - Dark Warrior Unleashed
Jenna Black - The Devil You Know
Christine Feehan - Turbulent Sea
Cry Wolf (Patricia Briggs as tigerlady mentioned)
Eve Kenin - Hidden
Whew! And that's just through the end of July. So much good stuff coming out!!!
-Tracy
*hand hits head* How could I forget Cry Wolf! Thank you tigerlady!
Gail - I'm glad I'm not the only one :) On the bright side, there are so many amazing books soon to be published that it helps...kind of like feeding your addiction with a slightly different drug until your drug of choice is available...probably not the best analogy.
orannia *who is going off to check when all these lovely books will be released*
