What's your fix today?

If you could walk into a bookstore today and magically find exactly what you want to read, what would it be? A romantic suspense, a sweet romance, a paranormal, a regency...? What are you craving on this Friday morning (Thursday night if you're on the other side of the world)!

Me, hmm, if I wasn't already madly in love with this book I'm writing, I think I'd be up for a western - with a prim heroine and a larger than life cowboy hero. There would be sparks, frontier stuff and lots and lots of passion!

I want a strong Highland laird. I'm just feeling like I need a visit to Scotland today.

I think a police procedural, with a tough chick detective.

Er...maybe I should finally read BORN IN DEATH? I think that would be closest.

"Me, hmm, if I wasn't already madly in love with this book I'm writing..."

I get this same way. As much as I want to read, nothing quite compares to the WIP (which has a larger-than-life cowboy! ... but not quite a prim heroine *g*) Which is probably a good thing, or I'd never get anything done.

Scooper - there's something about those Highland men, isn't there? Esp if they're all brusque and grumpy and the heroine makes them tender. Sigh...

Meljean - cowboy? You have a cowboy? you must tell me more!

I want Butch. Right now. This very instant. You know? J.R. Ward's upcoming book from the fabulous Brotherhood. I have been waiting on the cop for-ever *dramatic sigh*. I just know she's going to be SO mean to him before she gives him a HEA.

And while I'm at it, I want "Visions," too.

I am in desperate need of a time machine so I can just go forward and collect all the books I want. Then I could stop hounding authors.

It would be a new one by Sophie Kinsella (actually there is one coming out as we speak), Marian Keyes, Penny Vincenzi and Carolyn Mackler

I like fantasy romance so it would have to be Warlord by Elizabeth Vaughan. I can't wait for March - 3 books that I have been waiting forever for released!

I want Visions. Now. LOL!

Actually, I have two books in my hot little hands that I love and can't wait to read. Dead Giveaway by Brenda Novack and Count to Ten by Karen Rose. Both are Romantic Suspense and great authors! Karen Rose is one of my all time favorite authors. :)

Well I've just picked up two Tess Geritsen books and half way through Tami Hoag 'Prior Bad Acts'

Finished 'Craving Beauty' this morning and have a terrible urge to pull out an older Hoag bayou romance.

Visions would be very nice indeed though ;)

I could finish my own werecat story attempt but um no maybe not LOL.

Paranormal, contemporary (a little romance and a hard boiled detective... male or female I don't care which).

;-)

PS... Have you noticed that I am sort of slipping away from the romance LOL
