Help, I'm melting!

I'll take warm/hot weather over cold any day of the week. The idea of freezing my chops off does not a happy writer make. So you have to guess how hot is must be right now for me to be starting to think that this looks good.

This is me at the Sapporo Snow Festival - I'm such a dedicated romance writer that I found a symbol of romance even in below freezing weather. And yes, that is me under all those layers.

But I should be careful what I ask for - in a few weeks I'll be going from summer to winter. My body's already wincing. Anyway, this ramble on weather has a point. I thought we'd do a location/weather check today. Where are you posting from and what's the weather like?

Me first: Kyushu, Japan, Hot & Humid enough to melt tar (and possibly human flesh)

It's a lovely 16 degrees here in Paris, perfect for sleeping. The forecast is for 30 and sunny--for the next 10 days. In other words, luverly!

I'm quite cold here in Uruguay, but I'd much rather have these 13ºC than the 37ºC I'd be having if I were still in Tokyo!

What a cute picture!

It's actually cool today in northern California, compared to what it's been. 88 degrees F as opposed to the 105 and 107s of late. What a relief.

Milady and Emma - I feel for you. Me and the aircon are best friends at the moment. But they don't have any aircons in the classrooms. Torture!

Gabrielle - I hate you. ;)

Brrr, Rosario. What a temp switch! Sounds like you had a fun fun time in Tokyo though.

Hey Sara - I love CA! And lucky you on your cool(er) weather!

I meant to do this yesterday, but something (that was no doubt important but now forgotten) carried me off...

Hot in Southern California (although usually in a cold video edit room)
