Imaginary Friends

I often talk to my characters in my head. I consider that absolutely normal. Doesn't everybody have conversations with imaginary people? This is a question I'd really like answered. So tell me, have you ever talked to someone who doesn't exist?

I read in TIME Magazine that an actualy scientific study was done on children with imaginary friends, and they were actually Better adjusted socially and smarter, more creative, all that jazz.

And that fiction authors tend to react to their characters much like those children (which probably includes most of us) react with their imaginary friends. See? I knew I'd never grown up...no matter how much gray there is in my hair!
